WHO WE ARE
Bezalel School is a parent-run, Christian homeschool cooperative led by our founder and a board of directors. We are made up of families from various denominations, whose vision is to teach the beauty of dance and pageantry as a language for education and communication among people groups. The school teaches the skills needed for presentation: dance instruction, garmenting, stage design, music lessons, voice, and drama. We teach the importance of workmanship, integrity, modesty, and disciplined training. We also offer many other humanities related classes such as art, crafts, and sewing. We want students to use what they learn and be able to create beautiful things to be used for God's glory. We also focus on teaching foreign languages and cultures in order to give students a broader view of God's kingdom and what He is doing among the nations.
MISSION STATEMENT
All people are designed by God, the Creator, to appreciate, adore and respond to Him and His creation. All cultures are highly visual. Pageantry is a media that all nations respect, admire and respond to because it is a universal language.
Bezalel is a non-profit organization designed to train and encourage the use of dance, silk banners, flags, props, drama, and more, in ministry and worship. Every class at Bezalel is designed to bring God glory and praise.

One of the main focuses at Bezalel is a love for Israel, God's chosen people. We, as believers in Yeshua, are grafted into God's family from all around the world. We are Abraham's children by faith in Christ.

Our mission is to train students to love God with all their heart and soul, to love His people, Israel, and to worship God through fine and performing arts, creating images that bring honor to His name. Jehovah Nissi, the LORD is our banner, is our standard. His banner over us is love.
Our core values that are reinforced every week by teachers and parents include:
LOVE - John 15:12
BELIEVE - Romans 10:9
ENCOURAGE - Romans 14:19
FORGIVE - Ephesians 4:32
WORSHIP - Colossians 3:23
Classes are designed to honor God in the choices of materials, music, and words, practice attire, costumes, and sets. Each class begins with prayer.

STATEMENT OF FAITH
-
We believe the Bible to be the verbally inspired Word of God, the only and final authority for our faith and life, infallible, and God-breathed.
-
We believe in one Triune God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
-
We believe Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was born of a virgin and become man in order that He might reveal God and redeem mankind from their sins. Jesus is the Messiah, Savior of the world.
-
We believe Jesus accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as our substitutionary sacrifice and that
-
our justification is made sure by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead. We believe Jesus ascended to heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God, where, as our High Priest, He intercedes as our advocate.
-
We believe in the Holy Spirit, our counselor and guide, who is one being with the Father and Son.
-
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men and the personal and physical return of Jesus Christ at the end of the age.
-
We believe that God lays out principles and standards for us as followers of Jesus.
-
We believe that God ordains gender from birth and traditional marriage between one man and one woman.
-
Families attending the co-op must be in agreement with our standard on traditional Biblical values. This is a co-op for children to be educated as well as to be taught and encouraged to practice Biblical values in a safe environment as they grow in their relationship with God.
WHY THE NAME BEZALEL?
Bezalel was the chief artisan of the Tabernacle - God's dwelling place in the wilderness. God spoke to Moses saying that, "He has filled [Bezalel] with the Spirit of God -with wisdom, understanding and knowledge concerning every kind of artisanry." He was to be "a master of design in gold, silver, bronze, cutting precious stones to be set, woodcarving and every other craft." (Ex. 35:31-33 CJB)
The name Bezalel means "under the cloud or shadow or protection of God." In his day, God's presence lead His people in a cloud by day - sheltering them from the harsh desert sun, providing food and water in the wilderness and comforting them with His holy presence in their midst.
Bezalel School teaches students and their parents to communicate the love of God to people of different cultures through visual and performing arts. We want all men to come to the knowledge of the truth so that all nations will glorify God in extravagant praise.
The other ministries of Bezalel include young adult and adult dance teams that have traveled all over the world. Modesty in dance helps the audience focus their minds and hearts on the message rather than the messengers. Our director has designed beautiful Garments of Praise for this purpose. To magnify our mighty God, she has created a silk banner & flag ministry that was birthed in the Holy Land and has spread throughout the world.
